Breezy
This is my twofold response to this weeks Illustration Friday topic "breezy". Like last week I wanted to try both a juvenile and editorial version. The later is a portrait of my cold hating wife battling the Edmonton winter.
I wasn't sure how successful the fluffy dandelions would come out in the little girl picture, but I'm pretty happy with the result. Notice how I was lazy and used the same wind swirls for both?

Very nice work, I like both illustration.
ReplyDeleteI think both are really great! Very smooth and delicate. The first one is very sweet but I love the energy of the second one.
ReplyDeleteI really love the way you digitally render~!Nice job on these, I can really feel the movement!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't noticed about the wind swirls, but I like both of them. Even though the colors are similar, the dandylion one is light and airy, and the winter one is cold.
ReplyDeleteThese are both great! I love your color palettes and compositions.
